Aldo's is owned by husband and wife team Aldo Maresca and Barbara Lonsbury. Aldo came to America in 1993 from Sorrento Italy. Aldo is a chef who worked in all areas of the restaurant business. Barbara is an accountant and businesswoman whose background includes working for 3 publicly traded corporations. They both had a dream to open their own business. In 1996 they took over "La Strada" restaurant that was located in downtown Los Gatos. After a successful 2.5 years, they moved their business to its present location on Winchester Blvd in Los Gatos. "Aldo's" specializes in fine food in a relaxed atmosphere. Italian background music, and outdoor patio, and friendly service all add to the ambiance of this "Little Italy."
